THE VIGELANDSPARK AND FROGNERBADET
THE SCULPTURES OF GUSTAV VIGELAND
In Frogner there is a big park full of sculptures made of Gustav Vigeland (1869-1943). The Vigeland Museum started out as a contract between Gustav Vigeland and the city of Oslo in 1921. He gave the city ownership of the originals of all previous and future works of art in exchange of a free studio and a residence.
The park is a short walk from Majorstua Subway station, or if you prefer to use the tram, it stops right outside the main entrance.
